1. Scope and Provider

These Terms of Use govern your use of the websites and services (hereinafter "Platform") operated by OKONEMI LABS (eenmanszaak / sole proprietorship), registered in Badhoevedorp, the Netherlands, KvK number 97692417.

By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

2. Service Description

The Platform is an independent comparison and information portal. It enables users to compare products from various manufacturers and retailers, read and submit user reviews, and be redirected to external shops via affiliate links.

The Platform is not an online shop. No products are sold through the Platform and no purchase contracts are concluded. Purchase contracts are exclusively entered into between the user and the respective external retailer.

The Platform may receive a commission from partner shops for the use of affiliate links. This does not influence the information or reviews displayed.

3. User Account

Certain features of the Platform (e.g., writing reviews, saving favorites) may require registration. You must provide truthful and complete information during registration.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity that occurs under your account will be attributed to you. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete user accounts in case of violations of these Terms of Use.

4. User Conduct

When using the Platform, the following is prohibited:

  • Publishing false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content
  • Distributing spam, advertisements, or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Technically manipulating, overloading, or impairing the functionality of the Platform or its infrastructure
  • Manipulating reviews or rankings through automated means (bots, scrapers) or coordinated actions
  • Publishing content that violates applicable law (in particular copyright, personal rights, competition law)
  • Impersonating another person or organization

We reserve the right to remove content without prior notice and to suspend user accounts in case of violations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including texts, graphics, logos, software, and databases — is protected by copyright and is the property of OKONEMI LABS or the respective rights holders. Any reproduction, distribution, or public display without express permission is prohibited.

By publishing content on the Platform (e.g., reviews, comments, photos), users grant OKONEMI LABS a non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide, and royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the operation of the Platform. Intellectual property rights to user-generated content remain with the respective user.

6. Disclaimer

Product information, prices, and availability displayed on the Platform are provided to the best of our knowledge but are largely sourced from external sources (manufacturers, retailers, partner companies).

OKONEMI LABS makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information. In particular, prices, product specifications, and availability may change at any time without notice. Only the information provided by the respective retailer at the time of purchase is binding.

Liability of OKONEMI LABS for damages arising from the use of the Platform is — to the extent permitted by law — limited to intent and gross negligence. This does not apply to damages arising from injury to life, body, or health.

7. External Links

The Platform contains links to external websites (in particular online shops and manufacturer pages). OKONEMI LABS assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or offers of these external sites.

The inclusion of links does not constitute an endorsement or approval of the linked content. Responsibility for the content of linked pages lies solely with the respective operator. At the time of linking, pages were reviewed for recognizable legal violations; upon becoming aware of legal violations, corresponding links will be removed immediately.

8. Changes to Terms of Use

OKONEMI LABS reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. The current version is available on the Platform. Registered users will be notified of material changes via email or a notification on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms of Use.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch law, as OKONEMI LABS is registered in the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the user has their habitual residence (in particular German consumer protection law) remain unaffected.

For disputes with consumers, the statutory jurisdiction applies. For disputes with businesses, the registered office of OKONEMI LABS is agreed as the place of jurisdiction.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

10. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these Terms of Use be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that comes closest to the economic purpose pursued by the contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision.
