The Original Prusa XL is the most powerful 3D printer developed by Prusa Research, designed for industrial demands and serious hobbyists. With its massive build volume of 360 x 360 x 360 mm, it enables the fabrication of large objects and efficient small-batch multi-material printing. This specific configuration features 5 independent extruders (modular system), allowing the simultaneous use of up to 5 different materials or colors without color contamination. The machine utilizes a modern hybrid kinematics design, combining high speeds of up to 200 mm/s with outstanding print quality and precision. Operation is handled via a large 10-inch touchscreen display with an intuitive user interface. The XL comes fully factory-assembled and calibrated, including an automatic bed leveling system and a Load Cell for precise first-layer management. Thanks to the modular toolchanger design, swapping printheads is tool-free and takes seconds. Although this model is sold without the enclosure kit, the construction is optimized for stability and consistent results when printing ABS and ASA with ambient heating. The printer is ideal for professional users, engineering firms, and makers who require maximum flexibility, reliability, and speed for their workflow.
