The Original Prusa XL is Prusa Research's most advanced 3D printer, designed specifically for professional use and ambitious users. With a massive build volume of 360 x 360 x 360 mm, this printer enables the realization of large-scale models in a single piece, making it ideal for prototyping and batch production of parts. Despite its large size, it impresses with exceptional print quality and precision, supported by a powerful 32-bit controller and an efficient extruder system, though this specific model is equipped with a single extruder. One of the standout features is the innovative Nextruder extruder system, which ensures reliable printing even with technical materials like ABS, PETG, or ASA. The unit features an automated 9-point calibration process that makes setup extremely user-friendly. Connectivity options such as USB, LAN, and Wi-Fi (via update) provide flexible connectivity and easy integration into existing workflows. This "1 Extruder Assembled" version offers a cost-effective entry point into the XL world and can be easily upgraded to up to four extruders later. As it is delivered here without the Enclosure Kit, it is particularly suitable for materials like PLA that do not require a heated build chamber.
