The H2D Pro is designed for demanding environments: from near-production manufacturing to research & education to agile prototyping. It combines a sophisticated dual-extruder system, robust security and networking features, and two automated material storage units (AMS HT & AMS 2 Pro). For teams with multiple systems, tools for printer fleet management and job automation are available. Bambu Lab’s R&D team supports custom features—from API-based integration to connecting with existing production workflows. The H2D Pro combines two state-of-the-art material systems: the AMS HT for high-temperature filaments such as ABS, ASA, or PC—with integrated active drying and optimized filament feeding—and the AMS 2 Pro for standard and specialty materials. When combined, both systems enable the use of up to 24 different colors or materials and ensure fully automated, uninterrupted 3D printing of complex multi-color and multi-material objects. The second nozzle can be configured as a support tool. This speeds up the removal of supports, protects visible surfaces, and enables complex internal geometries using soluble or easily separable support materials. Optimized changeover routines and two separate nozzles reduce flushing operations and material consumption. Clean edges between colors ensure high-quality prototypes, branding parts, and design samples. With 350 °C at the nozzle and up to 65 °C in the active chamber, the H2D Pro reliably processes ABS, ASA, PC, PA, and CF/GF-filled filaments—for robust parts with high dimensional accuracy. The build volume is up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm (single) or 300 × 320 mm (dual). Precise linear guides and the Vision Encoder ensure repeatable 50 µm accuracy—even during long print jobs. The macro camera monitors extrusion in real time. AI algorithms detect deposits, deviations, or feed issues early on and prevent quality loss. Before starting, an automatic pre-flight routine checks the chamber, hardware, and alignment. The extremely hard nozzle significantly outperforms hardened steel and lasts noticeably longer with PA-CF, PC-CF, and similar materials. This reduces wear and minimizes maintenance downtime—especially during multi-shift operations. The vision encoder system tracks movement with 5 µm resolution and corrects in real time. This keeps dimensions, contours, and drill holes stable even on dynamic paths—job after job. The filter system, consisting of a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA, and activated carbon (coconut shells), reduces particles and odors—ideal for enclosed spaces, classrooms, and development departments.
